BRIDGE OF SPIES Trailer
Bridge of Spies tells the story of American lawyer James B. Donovan (Tom Hanks), as he is thrust into the center of the Cold War. He is given the mission to negotiate the release of U-2 spy plane pilot Francis Gary Powers, who was shot down over the Soviet Union. The story is based on the book of the same name, written by Giles Whittell. The screenplay was written by Matt Charman and the famous Coen Brothers.
Directed by Steven Spielberg, Bridge of Spies also stars Peter McRobbie and Alan Ada. Director of Photography is frequent Spielberg collaborator Janusz Kaminski, who was also responsible for the cinematography of, among others, Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan.
Bridge of Spies is set to be released on October 16 in the United States, and on November 27 in the United Kingdom. For more international release dates, check here!
