Set in the 70s, By The Sea tells the story of Vanessa (Angelina Jolie), a former dancer, and her husband Roland (Brad Pitt), a writer, who are traveling France together. Unhappy in their abusive relationship and growing apart, this trip is their last attempt to save it. The trailer is short and doesn’t show much else other than their disjointed relationship – she hits him, he supposedly hits her and leaves her lying on the ground.
About half the world is extremely eagerly (and impatiently) anticipating Tarantino’s upcoming film, The Hateful Eight. Starring usual Tarantino suspects like Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth and Kurt Russell, The Hateful Eight is set in a post-Civil War Wyoming.

I’ll say this straight. Ever since Zombieland, I look forward to action comedies starring Jesse Eisenberg. He has that fun combination of being adorably awkward but quick-witted.
Another Marvel anti-hero is brought to the silver screen and this time, it’s Deadpool. When Wade Wilson (former Special Forces Operative and now mercenary) discovers he has a severe type of cancer and does not have a long time left to live, he joins an experiment that will grant him superhero powers. The experiment is successful and he becomes Deadpool.
Someday, I wish to see a movie about dinosaurs that can move people like the original Jurassic Park. For many of us 90s kids, we were all in awe of the idea that creatures this large once ruled the planet. Now, most of us are kind of jaded but that shouldn’t stop you from watching this upcoming film from Disney Pixar.

We have come far since the time of the original Peanuts comic strips. It originates in a time when popular culture wasn’t so obvious with the allusions to sex or violence. It actually drew reference to how a child might interpret the adult world.
Here’s a worthwhile bet. Can Warner Bros.’ attempt to match Marvel’s success actually be successful without establishing the rest of DC’s pantheon of heroes?
