While Ad Astra is no doubt visually stimulating, ultimately Gray’s film is a meandering lifeless existential entity that overly emphasises on simplicity.
With an uninspired script and meaningless dialogue to fill space, Cold Blood is lifeless from the opening moments, failing to live up an action movie or thriller.
A film that is not enjoyed so much as processed, Midsommar is a rare experience that is not to be missed. That being said, you absolutely cannot skip it.
